We find ourselves looking for an Application Support who will integrate in the GNT team in Hong Kong and perform functions such as:
- Provide level 2 functional support to Front Office users of the Forex, Fixed-Income and Credit activities' information system.
- Perform sanity checks of the platforms. Make sure sanity checks/monitoring are accurate and adjusted whenever a change occurs.
- Lead/Coordinate investigations to resolve problems effectively. Formalize problems and escalate to Paris when need be. Propose workaround to unblock severe situation. Propose sustainable solutions to tackle recurrent business issues.
- Lead/Coordinate projects for Asia and Paris teams. Follow up all the potential impacts on Asian perimeter and make sure the production will be safe.
- Estimate the risks and opportunities in our day to day job, and take initiatives to reduce the risks and improve our efficiency. Provide support to team mates when necessary.
- Share experience and expertise to develop others. Develop collaboration with other teams in order to ease problem resolutions, prepare releases or ensure that our specificities/constraints are taken into account during change management (Organization or project wise).
Profile
- Master degree level, engineering school, with IT specialization
- 5+ years experience in Front Office support
- English
- Good communication and organization
- Analytical mind

- Technical skills:
OS: Linux and NT/XP/W7Database: SQL/Sybase/Microsoft SQLScripting Language (Python, Batch, Shell)
- Functional skills:
- Forex products (Spot, Swap, NDF, Options)
- Fixed Income products (Bonds, Futures, IRS)
- Credit derivatives
- ITIL / Knowledge of the Support processes
