Settlement Officer

We find ourselves looking for a Settlement Officer who will integrate in the GNT team in Hong Kong and perform functions such as:
- Perform market reconciliation and ensure all market executions are matched with TSS records for cash equity trades, and GMI records for F&O trades
- Follow up unmatched market trades with FO, MO and execution brokers
- Send trade confirmations to Paris BO
- Rebook, cancel and input new trades as per FO/MO request with supporting documents and proper authorisation
- Perform F&O give-up and take-up trades
- Send Contract Notes to clients
- Pay marks and collateral to F&O clearing houses and arrange funding
- Pay stamp duties on options jobbing business and exercise/assignments
- Call margins against client
- Reply to internal and external client enquiries
- Open sub-accounts in TSS and GMI
- Ensure all the processes are complied with the defined procedures and controls
- Assist Management on ad-hoc projects.
Profile
- Working experience on Asian market cash equity settlement, HK futures & options.
- A university degree in University degree in Accounting is preferred.
